When I finally got sober I traded my drinking nights for AA and long conversations with my sponsor. My entire life was surrounded by this idea of sobriety.

I was told, 'Your sobriety must be number one from now on!' I took that to heart in order to stay on course. A few years in I looked around and realized I was bored out of my mind. All I was doing was trading my drinking time with talking about my drinking time.

Since then everything has changed! I now realizes I have choices. Everyday I choose not to drink and then I choose to make strides towards bettering my health, my relationships, my finances and my HAPPINESS!
